"Explosion under the seat, ambulance": another emergency involving a bus occurred in St. Petersburg

A new incident involving public transport has occurred in St. Petersburg. One of the passengers eventually needed medical assistance, 78.ru reports.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred in the southwest of the city, at the intersection of Marshal Zhukov and Stachek Avenues. It is noted that while the bus was moving, a bang was heard and the bus braked sharply.

The media, citing the press service of the transport company OOO Domtransavto, writes that the explosion occurred directly under the seat, and as a result, the leg of one of the passengers was injured.

It is specified that the driver was driving along the route, ran over some object, and the bus's tire burst. "Due to the fact that it was under pressure, there was a bang," the press service noted. They specified that he stopped the bus and let the passengers out, asking if anyone needed help. One of the passengers complained of pain. The driver called an ambulance. He acted according to instructions, the company noted.
